When the Armies of Europe went to war in 1914 there was little appreciation of the impact that the Aeroplane would have on warfare.
In 1915, with appearance of machine gun armed fighters, aircraft against aircraft or Dogfighting appeared and the struggle for air superiority began.
The names of the aircraft ( Spads , Sopwith Camels , Fokker Triplanes ) and their pilots ( Von Richthofen , Richenbacker , McCudden , Guynemer ) remain as splashes of colour and glamour against a sombre background of tragedy .
Our simple fast play rules allow participants to recreate the early dogfights of the First World War. A large choice of aircraft from all periods of World War One, allow everyone to play with their favourite.
With a little luck, a dash of skill and no small amount of bravery you too could become an Ace fighter pilot and make it onto the Ace of Aces Roster Table .
